Open Door Theater – Musical Theater Audition Workshop

Objective: To learn how to prepare and perform 16 bars of a song during a musical theater audition.

Zoom format
Limited to 5 participants

Each participant will need to prepare the following –
Sheet music from a musical theater show (will need to get this approved by workshop leader by a set date)
16 bars of the above music selected to perform for the workshop
Access to a computer, iPad, etc with a microphone, camera and Zoom app
Access to recorded accompaniment for the song
Extra copy of sheet music for workshop leader
Synopsis of the show – need to share this with workshop leader a week before workshop
Character Analysis Worksheet (provided to participants) filled out, or completed orally and shared with workshop leader a week before workshop
